Microsoft has revealed that there will be three manufacturers are Acer, ZTE, and Fujitsu, who will join in 2011 is to make Windows-based handset Phone. The news was finally confirmed after Acer showcased W4, Phone Mango's first Windows smartphone at Computex event held in Taiwan in last May 2011.
Acer W4 is reported to have the following specifications:
- Capacitive touch screen 3.6 inch WVGA resolution
- Up to 8GB of internal storage media
- Qualcomm MSM8255 processor 1 GHz
- Camera 5 MP auto-focus
- HSPA 850/1900 or 900/2100
- Quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
- 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
- DLNA Support (DMC)
