There are many rumors surrounding the next generation of the iPad. One rumor that has been around since before the iPad 2 released is that the next version of this device will have a resolution similar to the iPhone 4, Retina Display.
In a statement made by the CEO of LG Display, Kwon Young-soo, he inadvertently confirms that the next iPad will display the 'Retina Display. He said many smartphone manufacturers outside of Apple will release a new model that uses' Retina Display''from LG as it has been used in the iPhone and iPad.
Rumored Apple will announce next iPad this fall, and also the iPhone 5. This is interesting, because they usually just do an update next generation only once per year. Combining the launch of the iPhone and iPad is also different from Apple's habit of announcing a major product at one time.
If iPad also use as the iPhone Retina Display 4, likely to be 4x higher resolution than current iPad, such as resolution of the iPhone 4-4x larger than the iPhone 3G. Which means the next iPad resolution to 2048x1536 pixels (3.2 megapixels)
In addition the use of 'Retina Display' in smartphone other than Apple will certainly add to the heat of competition display in the world of smartphones.
